Technical Qualifications by occupations

Table 1.9 shows the number of vacancies by field of technical qualifications and by selected occupations. As shown by the data, private sector has most required persons with NDT qualifications for immediate requirement for the occupations such as professionals and Technicians & Associate Professionals.

There were significant number of vacancies for persons with NCT qualifications within the occupations of professionals and Technicians and Associate Professionals for immediate requirement during the last six month in year 2008.

Managerial skills essential

Table 1.10 indicates the recorded vacancies with skill requirement for selected occupations. The most required skills for jobs is English knowledge which stands for global communication. The skill of ability to utilize information technology is also more important for almost all selected occupations. Apart from that job seekers must be aware that communication and interpersonal skills have also important for jobs in the private sector.
